Myanmar Nurse and Midwife Council (MNMC) held the Workshop on Development of Standard Operating Procedural (SOP) Manual for Nursing and Midwifery CPD system in Myanmar at Meeting Hall of MNMC. The workshop was held for three days from 16 to 18 July, 2024.
Daw Nwe Nwe Khin, president of MNMC delivered the opening remark and Dr Moe Sandar, National Professional Officer of Health System Strengthening Unit in World Health Organization (Nay Pyi Taw) provided the welcoming remark at the opening ceremony. Thirty persons of key stakeholders in nursing and midwifery professional participated as in three groups in developing SOP manual for CPD system.
First day of workshop (16 July, 2024)
The groups identified of the procedural steps of the Standard Committee, identified the instructions for the nurses and midwives, their supervisors and CPD providers for the operationalization of CPD system.
Second day of workshop (16 July, 2024)
The participants designed the necessary forms, documents and CPD log book for nurses and midwives, which support the CPD operating procedure.
Third day of workshop (16 July, 2024)
The groups finalized the writing SOP manual and the CPD Log book.
